1871, 500 mon yellow green to pale green, plate I, earliest and early printing, full sheet reconstruction by unused stamps without gum as issued, except position 3, used with large "Kakegawa Kensazumi". Includes rare plate flaws at positions 2, unused, and 3, used, as well as two pairs, a vertical strip of three, and a block of four. Notably, a full unused sheet of the 500 mon Plate I earliest or early printing remains unreported.

A reconstruction of the very highest order, of exceptional rarity and importance, and one of the true masterpieces of classic Japanese philately.
